This is a party hit. My husbands family has made this for years & we usually have it at gatherings and its always that first thing to be gone. Super super easy to make and its a fresh, delicious salad.

store bought coleslaw
sliced almonds
sunflower seeds
ramen noodles without the seasoning

Hey ya'll, summer is just about over and this salad is a must before we hit the fall season. As much as I LOVE FALL, I could technically make this summer salad year round & I know my husband or kiddos would be too upset about it.

This salad is an odd combo of ingredients but it is my absolute favorite EVER! Its very refreshing and had a great combo of textures.

Blueberry Avocado Pecan Salad

Ingredients:

-3 leaf lettuce

-avocado
-red onion
-Blueberries

-mandarin oranges
-feta cheese {Athenos brand}
-candied pecans {see below}

I don't really have measurements for you because I believe a salad should be made with how ever much of each ingredients you want to put into it. I know we have all had a salad bowl where you end up with just lettuce, which is NO BUENO! So add as you wish!

You really don't need dressing on this salad because all the flavors together is kind of like heaven, but if you must I would recommend pairing it with a balsamic.

***You can also add thin sliced chicken seasoned in salt & pepper cooked in coconut oil or shredded rotisserie chicken seasoned in salt & pepper.

Candied Pecans:

-butter {melted}
-brown sugar
-chopped pecans
BROIL for 4-5 minutes {watch carefully}
